Originally from the Mon State of Myanmar, Haymar came to Utah as a refugee in 2008. Prior to arriving in Utah, Haymar worked for nearly ten years as a chef in Thailand. Her passion lies in cooking and sharing true dishes and flavors of her home.
Formerly Januhongsar, Haymar opened a restaurant called Wann Jale in May of 2019. Wann Jale serves cuisine from Myanmar and Thailand and is open for lunch and dinner, catering, and is also available through numerous delivery services including DoorDash, GrubHub & Seamless.
