Muna grew up in the region of Sudan, where the Blue and White Niles meet. This influenced her cooking style as she learned about Sudanese, Ethiopian and Egyptian cuisines, and she enjoys serving all of her adopted recipes.

She arrived in Salt Lake City as a refugee in March of 2003 and has created a small catering business.

Muna has received over 60 hours of direct technical assistance and has grown her revenue by 25% in the past year.

She is deeply committed to creating loyal customers and friends in the community by introducing them to food they never knew they loved.
