Chef Nour of Noor al Sham

Originally from Syria, Chef Noor came to Utah in 2015 from Egypt. He learned to cook in Syria and became a chef when he was just 16 years old. Noor wanted to start his own business to make life better for his family. He specializes in shawarma and barbeque, and also pickles his own vegetables.

In addition to his catering business, Noor al-Sham, Noor has also started a non-profit that helps newly-arrived Syrians adjust to life in Salt Lake City. He hopes to open a small restaurant.

He strives to give his customers a great experience with delicious and beautiful food, a friendly personality, and exceptional hospitality!

Spice Kitchen Incubator is excited to partner with Chef Nour of Noor al Sham to offer a new, unique Spice-to-Go menu beginning on Thursday, September 16th as part of Welcoming Week and to kick off a new and improved Spice-to-Go service!

Order a dinner combination, individual entrées, or add on appetizers, desserts, and beverages for a full dinner pick-up

Order Omnivore or Vegetarian Dinner Combination | $25.00

  • Omnivore Entrée: Halal, dairy free (optional), gluten free

  • Vegetarian Entrée: Dairy free (optional), gluten free

Choose either a vegetarian or omnivore entrée. Each order comes with hummus, baba ganoush, pita bread, pistachio baklava and a yogurt drink.

Order Baba Ghanoush (Appetizer), 5oz | $2.00

Vegan, dairy free, gluten free

Roasted & mashed eggplant, finely diced onions and tomatoes, olive oil, lemon juice, a mix of seasonings, and tahini. A perfect dip for a side order of pita bread.

Order Hummus, 5oz | $2.00

(Vegan, dairy free, gluten free, contains sesame)

Hummus made of chickpeas & garbanzo beans, blended until smooth with tahini sauce. Goes great with Noor al Sham's pita bread.

Order Pistachio Baklava (Dessert), 2pc | $5.00

(Vegetarian, dairy free, contains wheat & pistachios)

Pistachios and a lemon simple syrup layered between flaky sheets of phyllo dough. Baked in the oven until golden brown and crisp. Drizzled a second time with simple syrup.

Order Pita Bread, 1pc | $1.00

(Vegetarian, contains gluten, and dairy)

An order of leavened flat bread baked in the oven until light, fluffy, and golden brown. Perfect for dipping in Noor al Sham's homemade hummus or baba ganoush!

Order Yogurt Drink | $2.00

(Vegetarian, contains dairy)

A refreshing beverage for the end of summer; a blend of yogurt, whole milk, lemon, and sweetener.


Order and pay online by 12pm on Tuesday for CURBSIDE pick-up at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South) between 4-6:30pm on Thursday. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion.

Upon arrival, please text us with your first and last name, car type, and license plate number. (If that doesn't work on your phone, please text us at 385-202-5207.)

To ensure the health and safety of Spice Kitchen Incubator staff, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and customers, we will be taking all necessary precautions, listed here, to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We ask that all customers also please wear a mask or face covering when being handed your meal. Thank you for your understanding.
