(Mar. 2017) - Spice To Go is an order-ahead pickup service hosted by Spice Kitchen Incubator and features a different chef and type of cuisine each Thursday.

This week's featured chef: Najati of Namash Swahili Cuisine.

Originally from Somalia, Najati came to the United States in 2008. She learned to cook at age 12 from her mother who also owned a food business. Najati spent her childhood selling her mother's cooking and eventually her own in Kenya!

Menu:
Chicken Curry, rice, and green salad with pepper chutney
Vegetarian- Coconut beans and chapatti with green salad and pepper chutney

Spice Kitchen Incubator is a culinary business incubator for new Americans and disadvantaged community members interested in launching a food business. Spice Kitchen Incubator provides participants with technical assistance and training, access to affordable commercial kitchen space, and community resources to teach entrepreneurs the steps to establish a successful food business.
