Partnership with Community Writing Center Grows
(Aug. 2019) - Spice Kitchen Incubator and the SLCC Community Writing Center partnered earlier this year to practice and provide creative writing skills to entrepreneurs while developing their menus.
The goal of this partnership is to assist entrepreneurs in creating an exciting and mouthwatering menu while teaching English language learners the steps to creatively describe their menu items to customers.
During the spring, the SLCC Community Writing Center offered weekly workshops for a small group of entrepreneurs overseen by a community writing volunteer. Now, the volunteers provide individualized one-on-one practice and development for entrepreneurs.
