New Cohort Begins

Spice Kitchen Incubator kicked off the new year by enrolling its sixteenth cohort of entrepreneurs! Once through Pre-Incubation and into Incubation, this group of business owners plan to share family recipes and traditions from Iraq, Burma, Venezuela, Democratic Republic of Congo, and others are excited to specialize in rich cakes and even dog food!

Wendy, Owner and Chef of Prime Corn, prepares mole verde for a recent Spice-to-Go.

New cohort members had a chance to meet one another and the entirety of the Spice Kitchen Incubator staff during January orientation. Current Spice Kitchen Incubator participant Wendy of Prime Corn and graduate Kiki of Bhutan House Restaurant took time to share their experiences with the group while food was shared.

Spice Kitchen Incubator's Program Coordinator Jamie Burns is up for the challenge, saying, "The new cohort is very ambitious. A lot of the new entrepreneurs have thought about their business and models for a while and are on an accelerated course to success."
