Jamaica's Kitchen is bringing the flavors and vibe of authentic Jamaican food to Utah. Jamaica's Kitchen offers everything from spicy & sweet Jamaican jerk chicken to coco bread & ting and even tender curry goat with rice and beans.
Originating in Jamaica, Chef Donovan has been working hard in the kitchen since he was 16. He started as a dishwasher then was mentored by a chef who inspired him to attend culinary school. For the past 20 years, Chef Donovan has been living and working in the United States and believes that Salt Lake City is a great place to raise his children and operate his business.
Chef Donovan realized another part of his dream when he began operating Utah's first Jamaican Food Truck and Catering in the Summer of 2017. Chef Donovan's dream also includes owning his own restaurant.
Jamaica's Kitchen does events & catering and will surely bring fun, love, and delicious food to the party. We hope you enjoy Jamaica's Kitchen!
"Wheel tha Pot!" means good food and hard work and captures the essence of Jamaica's Kitchen.
Meat Entree: Juicy Jerk Chicken and Coleslaw.
Vegetarian Entree: Cabbage Medley (bell peppers, carrots, red onion, garlic, thyme and fresh herbs)
Each dish is served with rice, beans, and fried plantains
Orders must be submitted by Tuesday at 12pm! You will receive an email confirmation upon completion.
Pick up and pay at Spice (2180 South & 300 West, Suite 102) between 4-6:30pm each Thursday. Chefs accept cash, check, and card payments.
Family 4-pack: $9 each +tax
Feed a Friend (serves 2-3): $10 each +tax
Individual: $12 +tax
If possible, bring your own bag for pick up!
