Chef Najati of Namash Swahili Cuisine
Najati spent time as a child learning to cook from her mother, who ran her own business selling food on the streets of Kenya. Her African cuisine is fresh and offers a taste of her home country of Somalia fused with other flavors in Eastern Africa.

Order Meat Entrée: Swahili Oven-Baked Chicken
Chicken quarters with an inhouse spice rub of Chef Najati's favorite spices & herbs. Baked in the oven until colorful and golden, served with Chef Najati's long grain basmati rice spiced with cinnamon, cloves, and peppercorns. Halal, dairy free, gluten free.
Order Vegan Entrée: Swahili Coconut Lentils
Lentils simmered in coconut milk and an inhouse spice mixture from Chef Najati's including cumin, cloves, and tumeric. Comes with Namash Swahili Cuisine's colorfullong grain basmati rice spiced with cinnamon, cloves, and peppercorns. Vegan, dairy free, gluten free.

Order and pay online by 12pm on Tuesday for CURBSIDE pick-up at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South) between 4-6:30pm on Thursday. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion.
