Chefs Ali & Ahed of Rahma
Chef Ali and his family own Rahma, which means “the merciful” in Arabic. Their food business sells fresh Iraqi cuisine and is named after their smart and beautiful daughter. She means everything to them. Because family is important to them, they opened their food business so everyone could share and spend more time together. They are excited to dish Iraqi food to the Salt Lake Community!

Entrées:
Ground Beef Kebabs:
Two ground beef kebabs served with basmati rice, pickled turnips, a green salad with grape tomatoes, and pita bread. (Halal, dairy free, pita bread contains gluten)
Maklouba, Iraqi Braised Vegetables:
Eggplant, tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers, and potatoes cooked with Rahma red sauce atop basmati rice. (Vegan, dairy free, pita bread contains gluten)
Kebab served with basmati rice, turnips, green vegetables, tomatoes and pita bread.
Sides:
Hummus (5oz):
A super-smooth mixture of chickpeas, garlic, lemon, and tahini. (Vegan, gluten free, dairy free)
Jajeek (5oz):
Creamy yogurt sauce with grated cucumber and garlic, brightened by mint and citrusy lemon. (Vegetarian, contains dairy, gluten free)
Dessert:
Luquimat:
Deep-fried balls of deliciousness, soaked in a cardamom simple syrup. (Vegetarian, contains gluten, dairy free)

Order Pickup
Place your order by Wednesday, June 29th at noon and pick up your items on Thursday, June 30th from 4-6:30pm at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South).
When you arrive for pickup please text us (385-202-5207) with the first and last name on the order, if you would like disposable utensils, and a description of your vehicle when you arrive. We ask that you remain in your vehicles and a staff member or volunteer will run your orders out shortly.
