Chef Hayat's Wings on Wheels
Wings on Wheels is Chef Hayat's new truck/catering business with great customer service that is dedicated to serving fresh and delicious food. Wings on Wheels offers delicious wings served with homemade sauces that will make your taste buds fall in love.
Hayat moved to Utah in June of 2011 from Afghanistan and was taught to cook by his mother-in-law and his wife. An absence of Afghan restaurants in Salt Lake City drove him to pursue his own food business.
When asked why he started his first business, Hayat’s Grill, he responded “to share my culture with others in hopes of erasing hatred that has taken place in so many hearts and bridging gaps over a cup of tea.”
Hayat has worked many years in the food industry, starting out at a food cart and now growing his second food truck business. He loves to look for new opportunities, which is what brought him to a wing food truck.

Entrées:
Banjan Borani (16oz):
Eggplant cooked in a white sauce made from yogurt, lemon, garlic, pepper, and mint, tomatoes with qabili palaw, long grain basmati rice mixed with raisins and shredded carrots. Each order comes with a side of raita, a lemon yogurt sauce. (Vegetarian, contains dairy, gluten free)
Chicken Biryani (16oz):
Chicken pieces marinated in yogurt, cayenne, black pepper, cumin seeds, salt, lemon, lemon pepper, and onion simmered in a homemade seasoned tomato sauce. Served with basmati rice and a side of raita, a lemon yogurt sauce. (Halal, contains dairy, gluten free)
Appetizers:
Beef Kofta (3pc):
Handmade ground beef meatballs cooked with tomatoes, onions, green peas, garlic and herbs. (Halal, dairy free, gluten free)
Macaroni and Bean Salad (6oz):
Macaroni, black and red kidney beans, garbanzo beans, lettuce, tomatoes and red onion tossed in a yogurt sauce. (Vegetarian, contains dairy, contains gluten)
Salad:
Three-Bean Salad | 12oz
Afghan-style baked beans with garbanzos, red kidney, and black beans, seasoned with cumin, salt, cayenne pepper, and garlic. Served chilled. (Vegan, dairy free, gluten free)
Beverage:
Chai (16oz):
Homemade chai with whole milk, cardamom, and cinnamon. Served hot. (Vegetarian, contains dairy, gluten free)

Order Pickup
Place your order with Wings on Wheels by Tuesday, November 1st at noon and pick up your items on Thursday, November 4th from 4-6:30pm at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South).
When you arrive for pickup please text us (385-202-5207) with the first and last name on the order, let us know if you would like disposable utensils or not, and a description of your vehicle when you arrive. We ask that you remain in your vehicles and a staff member or volunteer will run your orders out shortly.

Order and pay online by 12pm on Tuesday for CURBSIDE pick-up at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South) between 4-6:30pm on Thursday. You will receive an email confirmation upon completion.
