Bhutan House Restaurant Grand Opening
Welcome The Newest Refugee-Owned Business to the Food Scene: Bhutan House
There is no denying that food connects us to one another. As we come up on the holiday season, you may begin to recognize that most celebrations across the globe include gathering around a spread of food (or in some cultural celebrations fasting). On Saturday, October 7th, 2017 The International Rescue Committee in Salt Lake City (IRC)'s Spice Kitchen Incubator program will be celebrating a special journey and welcoming Bhutan House Restaurant to the local Salt Lake City food scene. Join us in support of this refugee-owned business and enjoy a lunch buffet, dinner, or drinks!
The First Spice To Go!
Spice To Go is an order-ahead pickup service hosted by Spice Kitchen Incubator and features a different chef and type of cuisine each Thursday.
This week's featured chef: Najati of Namash Swahili Cuisine. Originally from Somalia, Najati came to the United States in 2008.
Welcoming Laan Na Thai
On Friday, October 14th, 2016 the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) Spice Kitchen Incubator program, in partnership with Salt Lake County, will officially be welcoming Laan Na Thai Restaurant to the Salt Lake City local food scene. Join us as we gather to indulge in the tastes of Northern Thailand and experience this culture in the best way we know how – by eating!
