Chefs Ahimara and Eliceo of Delicius
Ahimara and Eliceo are from Valencia, the capital city of the Carabobo state in Venezuela. Ahimara learned to cook from her grandmother who taught her the art and balance of flavors. Before coming to the United States, Ahimara had decades of baking and entrepreneurial experience in Venezuela where she was trained as a Master Pastry Chef. Ahimara and Eliceo owned a culinary academy where they taught as well as participated in numerous baking and cooking classes, focusing on breads, cakes, custards, and tarts.
Now in Utah, Ahimara and Eliceo have launched Delicius, a family Venezuelan bakery business that brings the flavors and recipes of Venezuela to Salt Lake City. Friends experience sincere emotion when they are able to eat these unique treats that remind them of home. Together they hope that their new community can better understand all that immigrants can offer to their new home.

Eye of round beef braised with pureed sweet peppers, capers, onions, bay, and garlic. Comes with mashed potatoes. (Contains dairy, gluten free)
Berenjenas al Pesto:
Eggplant pesto smothered in pesto sauce and grilled until golden brown. Comes with mashed potatoes and brown sugar reduction.

Cream of Spinach Soup:
A creamy, made-from-scratch cream of spinach soup with puree of onions, tomatoes, cilantro, milk, and cheese. (Gluten free)

Chilled red cabbage salad with fresh corn, pineapple, and mayonnaise. (Vegetarian, contains dairy)

Place your order with Prime Corn by Wednesday, May 18 at noon and pick up your items on Thursday, May 19th from 4-6:30pm at Square Kitchen (751 West 800 South).
When you arrive for pickup please text us (385-202-5207) with the first and last name on the order, if you would like disposable utensils, and a description of your vehicle when you arrive. We ask that you remain in your vehicles and a staff member or volunteer will run your orders out shortly.
